Sarauw For Congress -

Janelle is a daughter of the soil whose background in political science, organizational leadership, public service, teaching, research, and mentoring has shaped her commitment to leadership and community engagement in our Islands. Even before entering politics, she built meaningful connections throughout the community. I first met her more than 20 years ago, when she volunteered with an afterschool program that my children attended while she was preparing for Carnival Queen competition. During her tenure in the Legislature, she stood out as one of the most approachable Senators—someone who truly listens and understands the concerns of the people she serves. She has focused on advocating for the Virgin Islands at the federal level, supporting long-term economic growth, greater self-determination, environmental protection, expanding youth initiatives, encouraging workforce development and apprenticeship opportunities, and promoting transparency in government. As she now seeks to serve as Delegate to Congress, I am proud to support Janelle K. Sarauw.

I support Janelle Sarauw for Congress as I truly believe she is the best possible person for the position. I respect her values, her faith, she will always show up for the people of the VI and has solid roots here with her family keeping her grounded. We need younger people to take control—not the same old tired empty promises with no results. My wish is one day Janelle will run for Governor. This is a great first step!

I’m officially a registered Democrat. I will be voting during early voting, which begins on July 20. Please have Janelle post so others know—in case they’re traveling and don’t want to do the absentee ballots. Every vote counts in SENDING HER TO THE HILL!!!
